Space Acorn. [UFO] - [Kecksburg, Ohio 1965.]

• About: A small copper UFO that crash-landed with an eerie green flame on December 9th 1965 in a small town of kecksburg ohio. That same night, four metallic baseball-sized debris also crashed and caused fires in various cities in 100km around the area, the fireball was apparently visible all the way from Ottawa!! - The army showed up & M.I.B where allegedly seen taking stuff away under the cover of night. Today It's Believed to simply have been the burning wreckage of a spy satellite, but some aren't so sure...

[the replica based on witness descriptions made by unsolved mysteries in the early 90s, today its on display near the Kecksburg fire station, today the area holds an annual UFO festival too.]

[I mainly wanted to draw this one because I hadn't seen ANY art for it (I only discovered it by chance whilst browsing Ohio cases the other day.) I don't usually draw UFOs solo. (unless there's a particular alien of interest included) but a space acorn? c'mon SO CUTE, it draws itself!! I'd have added ridges to exaggerate the 'metallic' aspect, but all the witness descriptions say it was "smooth" ...My current fear is that people might mistake it for a “toy.” 🫣 …but I suppose I'll just have to accept that fate, as long as it gets people interested in the obscure small town ufo story. 😝)]
