• Related Yokai: Nukekubi/Rokurokubi. • Date of appearance: 3rd, Morning. • Story: In the morning: while Heitaro was studying, a ghastly severed head squeezed out of a mouse-hole in his room... it crawled around using its hair like legs, moved over to Heitaro & licked him all over, eww...

"稲生物怪録" or "Ino Mononoke Roku" is a (supposedly, true?) story which takes place in Miyoshi, Hiroshima, during July of 1749 – in which 16 year old "Ino Heitaro" (& his friend Gonpachi) decide to play "Hyakumonogatari"  (a game which involves telling 100 ghost stories.) as a test of courage to see which of them is the bravest! Soon after the two are visited by various ghosts, yokai and other supernatural phenomena, day & night for an entire 30 days!!! – [You can watch a telling of it here (with english subtitles)] – I'm going to try & gradually complete a yokai sticker for each day! – (Please note: I will be posting about them out of order & at my own pace.)
