...In 1910 'Expert Lumberman' & State Forester Eugene S Bruce, captured a cub with his bear hands & donated it to the Rock creek park zoo in Washington it was named "Hyampom Teddy!" (I found a news clipping from 1910 & 1908 photo that havent appeared in articles on about this critter before!!)
